The best rated campsite on the Tuscan coast is this: Camping Park Albatros Village. This campsite is located in Livorno, a stone's throw from the beach. The campsite is located in the middle of a pine forest with central facilities such as shops, restaurants and a large swimming complex.
There are several mobile homes for two to six people for rent. Spacious pitches are available for campers, caravans and tents. The holiday park has an entertainment team with disco and children's activities. Campsite Village Le Capanne

Not too big, but not so small that there is nothing to do, is Camping Valle Gaia, only about 9 kilometers from the Etruscan Riviera in Tuscany. A campsite where you mainly find campers. The mobile homes are not yet central here. However, it is a Dutch enclave during the high season. See the video below.

Tips: discover the most beautiful places in Tuscany

Elba is the largest island off the Tuscan coast. It has beautiful beaches and beautiful sights.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the most famous Italian structures. This 55 high tower is more than 4 meters out of plumb.
Outside Pisa you can of course also travel to beautiful destinations such as Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano, Pistoia and Florence. For Florence you should actually allow more than a day.
Are you interested in art and architecture? In Vinci, you will find the residence and museum dedicated to arguably the greatest artist, inventor and architect of all time: Leonardo da Vinci.
Can't get enough of the Tuscan coast? In Viareggio you can still see a lot of what the old fishing town used to look like. In this part of the Tuscan coast you can stay on the beach fairly cheaply, even if you are not staying at a campsite by the sea.
Listen to street music in Livorno (and discover what is Dutch here!) and drive via idyllic roads towards Grosseto: a nice base for you italian holiday.
