The 5 Best Italian Cookbooks of 2017

A lot of cookbooks came out again in 2017. And quite a few of them were devoted to Italian cuisine. I was allowed to rate several books. My top five of the best Italian cookbooks of 2017 can be found below. 1. Eataly: contemporary Italian cooking

The last cookbook I reviewed for DitIsItalie.nl this year is also the best. It is an inspiring book with 300 modern Italian dishes from contemporary Italian cuisine. 2. Fratello & Sorella

Fratello & Sorella is a cookbook conceived as an exchange of letters between brother and sister. A very sympathetic book with a beautiful design, the story of which is at least as important as the recipes. This cookbook also serves as a kind of introduction to Italy. 3. Delightful Rome

4. La cucina verde

A vegetarian Italian cookbook by Miki Duerinck and Kristin Leybaert with many lactose-free dishes. Original interpretations, also great fun for vegans. A delicious recipe from this book can be found here.
