5. Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster in The Dark Knight Trilogy (2004)
The Lamborghinis, like Ferraris, are very popular in Hollywood. In The Italian Job (1968) you can find a Miura P400 in a supporting role, Rocky has his own Jalpa in Rocky IV (1982) and in Mission Impossible III Tom Cruise travels in a bright yellow Gallardo (2006). During the world premiere of this film in Rome, the complete cast even arrived in 10 Lamborghinis!
This scene hurts fans of Italian cars
And you can guess what Bruce Wayne is driving around when he doesn't get into his Batmobile like Batman. Right, in a Lamborghini. And not just any one, a Lamborghini Murciélago. And let that just be Spanish for 'bat'.
Many car enthusiasts will have mixed feelings during the second film, The Dark Knight Rises, as Bruce protects a police convoy from an attack by driving his own Lamborghini in front of the oncoming truck. He thus prevents the attack, but little of his Murciélago remains. Not that he regrets it for long, because in the last part of the trilogy he happily drives around in a Lamborghini Aventador.
